Highly collectible Maison Margiela Artisanal S/S 2000 RTW oversized ivory lace slip. The pivotal collection applied overblown proportions to wardrobe staples, such as slip dresses, which were enlarged by up to 200%. Included with the photos of the rare piece in our collection, we have supplemented runway photos of three iterations of the slip. As with all Maison Margiela Artisanal pieces, each is one of a kind. These pieces from the Artisanal collection's exude a sense of invention as well as reinvention. Smooth, high-shine, polyamide ivory met with delicate panels of floral eyelash lace. The oversized silhouette allows for endless layering opportunities. One set of straps on the shoulder and a second set hang and graze onto the upper arm. Excellent condition. Small speckling of blemishes on the left side lower hem shown in the 11th photo.
