Sophisticated and coveted late 1940's suit from Lilli Ann. This unique ensemble dates to roughly 1947-ish. The silhouette seems more early 1940's, but the hem length indicates around 1947. We could see Lauren Bacall smoldering in a classic noir film in this ensemble. Clearly inspired by ADRIAN.
The smooth slate grey wool twill is tailored into a darling silhouette fit with shoulder pads and raglan sleeves. Wonderfully placed buttons (not original). Snap closures. Fully lined in apricot acetate.
Very faint stain on upper left of the jacket, otherwise in very good condition.
