A coveted runway piece from the Gianni Versace S/S 2000 collection by Donatella Versace. This collection is easily the most famous of Donatella's reign at Versace. This collection gave us the J Lo dress— the dress that birthed Google Images! That same season-defining tropical jungle foliage print lines this dress in a warm palette of hot pink and orange.
The dress is a luxurious silk chambray denim with iridescent rhinestone buttons and top-stitching detail. The dress is lined with the iconic pink jungle print on smooth silk with slits on both sides to give a sneak peek with movement.
This dress was documented on the Versace Couture Spring/Summer 2000 runway on model Kiara Kabukuru and in the Versace Spring 2000 campaign on model Amber Valletta by Steven Meisel.
