Donald Brooks '70s Black Jersey Halter Gown with Satin Ties
From the wonderful Donald Brooks, this gown is the absolute epitome of the sultry early seventies era of slinky jersey and halter necks. Brooks only designed for a very short time, closing his business in 1973. The dress has a bare feeling that is insanely sexy with a halter style front that plunges right to the waist. It ties behind the neck and the back is left completely open and bare. The gown is made of a black rayon jersey that is weighted so it drapes like a dream. Despite its bareness at the back, it is cleverly cut so that when you have it on it stays in place. No wardrobe malfunction here!! And for the grand finale, the ribbons tie in the back and those ties extend out to extra, extra long wide satin ribbon ties. Unlined with the back having a low zipper along with a hook & eye at the waist. Please note: the ties can be tied numerous ways to create a slightly different look and they are attached at the neck. Excellent condition.
