An electrifying coat from the Bill Blass F/W 1997 runway collection. This velvet coat draws upon inspirations of 1920's silk screened velvets reminiscent of Fortuny and Gallenga. The velvet coat is a luxurious shade of gold with metallic silver "brushstrokes" that create an organic Art Nouveau-esque inferno motif. A longline silhouette features two functional pockets hip length at the sides of the coat with envelope flap closures. Expert Blass tailoring with darting around the waist and sharp tailoring at the shoulders. Slight shoulder pads gently support the flattering silhouette. Fully lined in gold silk.
This statement coat can make any outfit into an enviable and effortlessly chic look. Even with jeans and a white tee it's sure to guarantee you double-takes. Marked a US 10, but look at the measurements, probably more like a comfortable 6 or 8.
