1990's Pale Pink Silk Chiffon Goddess Gown with Tie Neck Scarf

Divinely diaphanous goddess gown in a delicate hue of pale pink. This romantic gown has been beautifully crafted from a sheer silk chiffon in a classic Grecian column silhouette with airy drapes and gathers. The bodice is composed of a panel of chiffon diagonally draped to create a pillowy blousing that flows into the gathered skirt at the waist. The skirt falls into a flowing statuesque form to the floor-grazing hem. At the neckline, two short pieces of chiffon wrap across the front of the neck to meet the long attached chiffon scarf. So many ways to play with the top details!!  The scarf can be pulled through the loop and elegantly drape down the left shoulder. The scarf could alternatively be pulled through the loop in a pussybow style for an extra element of drama. We've included photos of the dress in three different stylings. Both the bodice and skirt of the dress are finished with two layers of the sheer pink silk chiffon.

The gown comes with it's separate slip composed of the same shade of pink in a thin bias crepe. The inner shoulders of the outer gown feature fastenings to secure the inner slip in place. There may be a slight variation in color tone throughout these photos, but the pink has a true neutral undertone. It is not a warm pink.

Elegant, timeless, romantic, and with a pinch of drama. This piece conjures up images of eras of antiquity revival such as Madeline Vionnet in the 1930's as well as Halston in the 1970's. This unlabelled gem dates to the 1990's. It has been expertly constructed, as evidenced by the microscopic baby hems present throughout.
