An effortlessly cool summer staple from Comme des Garçons Spring 2002 collection. The two-tone skirt begins with a white cotton poplin waist panel with an elasticized waistband. The body of the skirt is composed of a cream knife-pleated knit jersey which is sewn over the poplin for a sweet ruffle effect. Simple and undeniably chic.
We've included runway photos of Rei Kawakubo's SS02 collection to show the airy, childlike innocence captured in the runway stylings with elements such as split material skirts, knife pleats, two tone cream/cotton skirts, etc.
