Elegant black satin baby doll silhouette evening coat by cult favorite Jax. Jack Hanson of Jax first made a splash in the late '50s and early '60s styling Hollywood starlets such as Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn in curve-hugging tapered cigarette pants. This coat is a classic example of the quality he created for his clientele of movie stars and socialites. Four button closure at chest with two additional snaps. Sophisticated construction. Fully lined. Light discoloration to the cream silk chiffon bodice lining. Great vintage condition.
