A lifetime Gianni Versace couture gown from the 1994/1995 Autumn/Winter Ready To Wear collection. Not only was an iteration of this design featured on the runway, the short version of this dress is worn by Nomi Malone in the 1995 film 'Showgirls', in which she utters the iconic movie line: "Thanks! I bought it at Versayce!".

The references in this visionary look range from Pretty Woman to Swinging Sixties Courrèges. Patent leather peek-a-boo cutouts at midriff with gold toned Medusa-head insignia buttons. Lurex-flecked black wool. Sleeveless, scoop-neck, column silhouette. Back slit for ease of movement. Composed of 92% wool, 4% polyester, and 4% silk. Truly collectible piece for any devout fashion lover! Excellent condition.
