Smoky and smouldering little enamel mesh halter dress from the personal collection of designer Anthony Ferrara. Ferrara is the true master of turning metal into liquid gold that conforms to the body for maximum seduction. The mastermind behind some of the most memorable mesh Whiting & Davis pieces of the '70s and '80s, dressing icons such as Tina Turner and Farah Fawcett. This slinky enamel mesh mini dress is decorated with a shimmery bronze and charcoal geometric motif. The halter dress ties at the neck and the small of the back. Bodice unlined with padded panels at the sides for comfort. Lined skirt with adjustable tie-waist detail hidden in the lining. Sexy side waist cut-outs flatter the figure and draw attention to the open back. This new with tags museum piece from Ferrara's personal archive represents the pinnacle of metal mesh artistry that defined disco-era glamour.
