This is a wonderful example of the traditional Kuchi dress found predominately in Afghanistan. This dress is typically ornamented with vests and headdress jewelry and is used in ceremonies. This particular gown is gorgeously hand embroidered, has a contrast of bright colors and has a twisted lame border throughout. The mirrors that scatter throughout the piece are very indicative of Afghani textile design. Excellent condition. A stunning piece. Handmade.
