Crown Trifari late 1950's/early 1960's necklace and earring set. The set is encrusted with imitation turquoise cabochons and faux ruby red and sapphire blue colored spaced rhinestone blossom clusters. The collar necklace sits elegantly at the base of the neck drawing attention to the dome-shaped matching cluster clip-on earrings. Trifari's high-end costume jewelry is highly collectible, especially pieces designed by Alfred Philippe bearing the Crown Trifari stamp. All of the stones are pavé-set in brushed gold-tone costume metal. It would appear this set is composed of "Trifanium", Trifari's patented tarnishing gold costume metal. The stamp dates this to the late 1950's/ early 1960's. Clasp closure necklace and clip-on style earrings.
