A truly exquisite late 1930's to early 1940's lightweight stroller an adorable ribbon bow motif. Deliciously textured black silk crepe makes up the exterior of this jacket with whimsical painterly cream ribbon bows decorating the silhouette like plumes of smoke. The jacket has a faint shawl collar that drapes open without a closure down the front, falling around the hips. The sleeves taper to a slight bell at the cuff and on either sleeve, there is a single covered button composed of the same fabric that discreetly allow for the option to cuff the sleeves if desired. This is the kind of innovative versatility we cherish in these true vintage gems! Elegant, sumptuous, and remarkably unique. Fully lined in black silk crepe.
Excellent vintage condition. One teeny abrasion to the crepe lining inside the sleeve that can technically be seen when worn cuffed, although it is hard to spot.
