Up Close With Joseff of Hollywood

As seen on last weeks episode of L.A. Frock Stars, Joseff of Hollywood has an important lineage in costume jewelry within film. What began with a challenge within the industry, Eugene Joseff changed the course of costuming by creating original pieces for period movies that reflected the real jewelry of the set time and became the highest in-demand jewelry designer for the Golden Age of Hollywood. In 1937, the company moved into creating a consumer level brand that was available for retail in high end department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks and Nordstrom. Here are a just a few pieces Doris has collected from the latter collection, available in the store!
