The Way We Wore is now showcasing a collection of handmade bridal headpieces by jeweler Sonia Boyajian, who is known for her ethereal, whimsical and vintage inspired designs. The series of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind items are created from semi-precious stones, crystals, vintage beads and re-purposed vintage trims and feathers. All the headpieces are set in fine metals such as gold-fill, sterling silver and bronze.
Each pair of hair combs, headbands and crowns is lovingly and delicately crafted evoking a fairy tale effect for the special day. Retail prices range from $350 for the combs to $950 for a crown. “To me, there is nothing more special than personalized touches for a wedding,” say Boyajian. “I purposely created these pieces with the ability to be remade or redesigned in the future, creating what I believe is the ultimate modern heirloom.”
