Such grace and beauty in the styles from that era. I have no clue where we went after this, wearing less and less, maybe we can attribute that to global warming. Bring back classic fashion, so much more dignified.

Hi Joy. Thank you for taking the time to rite. I definitely feel like one of the most fortunate people on this planet to be involved in a business that still- after 32 years - I am having fun with. Joseph Campbell was right when he said " follow your bliss". Thank you so much and I hope to see you at the boutique at some point. We are still hoping for a second season, so if you are so inclined, please like us on Smithsonian Channel's Facebook page and mentions on social media are greatly appreciated! Take are Joy.
Wow! I absolutely LOVE this show and EVERYONE on it! I never miss an episode and am absolutely 'in love' with the way that the program really shows the knowledge an hard work that Doris and her staff have put into becoming passionate, consummate PROFESSIONALS. Doris clearly enjoys her work, the history, the details, etc and it shows in every way. I am not one for fan letters but I just am soooo impressed!

Doris - I really loved your show and its look at your work and that of your staff in finding and handling those fashion treasures of the past. Your show was both entertaining and informative. I hope for and to forward to a 2nd season.

I have one little question. I love fashion both vintage and contemporary. Just say I bought a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes or a Chanel jacket brand new. How would I help keep it's value so in thirty years if you wanted to raid my closet you would find the "holy grail." An example of my question should you keep the boxes and dust bag that comes with the item? Any help would appreciated.
